Welcome to the Literary Corner!
This section is devoted to my intellectual submerging within stories. I may not fully grasp every theme or motif of a book at first read, but I hope to understand the atmosphere in which they are set in. I wish for this to be an area where everyone can properly surmise, tactfully contemplate, and wholly enjoy the literature of this world!
I hope to "[breathe] in the thoughts and feelings of distant ages, and [reconstruct] them in … teaching and writing” (Jason M. Baxter, The Medieval Mind of C.S. Lewis).
Join me in doing so!
The Hobbit, or There and Back Again: A Comfortably Uncomfortable Tale
I consider myself lucky to say that I read The Hobbit, or There and Back Again, early in my life.
